Everyday Fools...

After working for exhausted thirteen hours continuously, I left the office around 2100 hours last Wednesday with the mind of go home quickly and take a long sleep. As I got in to road with my colleague Ruki, we noticed that the Galle Road was closed and no busses were moving to either side.

The reason behind was a big gala to celebrate a political marriage. Deputy Minister of ports and aviation Duminda Dissanayke (Son of the North-Central Province Chief Minister Bertie Premalal Dissanayake) got married to the eldest daughter of Minister of Agriculture, Lands and Forestry, D M Jayarathne.

The road starting from hilton was the car park of the guests and weekend newspapers has reported that a squad of more than 3000 armed forces were allotted on that night for the security. They have further reported how the ministers were drunken and danced at the galleface green. See how we let our political jack a**e* enjoy their selves with rock and rolls by spending national treasure, resources and importantly valuable time of ours…
