New Buddy for Me

New Kingdom

This is a thought came up from one colleague of my GF. I thought of writing it here as I felt this idea is well apposite.

Everyone knows that ancient kings of sri lanka have changed the capital city of this country time to time. Once it was Anuradhapura, then Polonnaruwa and Kandy likewise.

This is the time to change it once again. The new King of this country is born in Hambanthota. And whatever the developments he does, those are also limited to Hambanthota. He builds an international airport there, he builds a commercial port there. He builds a botanical garden there. He will build lot more things there. So he can make ‘Hambanthota’ his capital city and re-locate there. So the people in Colombo can restore their life styles back without stuck in traffic jams for hours when roads are blocked for VIP convoys.

I was missing my hit dinner item ‘kottu’ ever since I became a vegetarian. (What is kottu? Indi says it’s a popular, chopped up food). But I got to find that there are lots of places who give Vegetable kottu. But many of those people do not know how to prepare it where as some do know. Some people become surprise when I asked for pure vege kottu. Some give it just with lotta soya source. Some make it with potato. Some offer it with seenisamble. But the raheema, (the famous restaurant in front of Thurstan) is probably the Best place to have a vege kottu in this world.
